Joe is a specialist in insight-driven strategy development, across brand, communications, fundraising and advocacy – and has oversight of all Eden Stanley’s work, ensuring uncompromising quality and rigorous thinking. His background is in nonprofit senior management, including as Communications Director at Save the Children. A regular public speaker on public engagement and attitudes, Joe has written several publications for the sector, including the book, Make it Matter, creating communications strategies in the nonprofit sector.
As Managing Director, Sam oversees all day-to-day operations at Eden Stanley. He has more than a decade’s experience working in the non-profit sector, most recently at Amnesty International UK where he mobilised millions of people, delivered award winning campaigns and helped change public attitudes towards human rights. He has specialist knowledge of communications, campaigning, fundraising and advocacy and is an expert on digital strategy and engagement. He also has significant experience of organisational development and culture change.
Simon leads all of Eden Stanley’s fundraising programmes. He is a seasoned fundraising expert having worked in the sector since the early 1990s, when he started at Burnett Associates. Simon’s work spans all types of fundraising, including high net worth, institutional, and public. Notable achievements include setting up and managing the Remember a Charity consortium, and leading the UK office of CRM agency Merkle Domain. Simon delivered our review and development of UNESCO’s global fundraising strategy.
Hannah’s career spans 20 years in communications roles at some of the UK’s most high-profile charities and, of course, Eden Stanley. Her extensive experience includes PR and communications strategies covering advocacy and hard news, issue-building campaigns, fundraising and mass event participation. Seven years as head of media and public affairs at Comic Relief meant responsibility for its entire media output, including promotion of strategic partnerships across government, nonprofit, and corporate sectors.
Stuart delivers most of our more complex data analysis projects, including our segmentation programmes and propensity modelling. With more than fifteen years’ experience in insight analysis, Stuart’s career includes eight years at Age UK, before becoming a data consultant. Stuart uses a range of disciplines to build attitudinal and behavioural models for market segmentation, and helps clients find value in their CRM databases, building propensity models and designing customer journeys. Stuart is an active member and Vice-Chair of the Institute of Fundraising Insight Special Interest Group.
Martha leads many of our campaign projects. Martha uses her expertise in influencing public policy to analyse the threats and opportunities facing our clients, identify the points of intervention, and to advise them how to change the debate. Martha has more than 15 years of senior-level experience leading nonprofit campaigns, including as Head of Campaigns at Shelter. Martha led our work with Plan International, developing their global advocacy strategy on the rights of girls, and brokering their partnership with the Nike Foundation’s Girl Effect.
Luana manages most of our major client programmes. Luana joined Eden Stanley from the British Embassy in Brazil, where she coordinated their public diplomacy and campaigning programmes. Luana’s job is to keep things on track, and manage Eden Stanley’s project communications.

Andrei is our lead on digital and social media. He is both an expert developer and an experienced marketing professional – and our clients appreciate this unusual combination of skills. It allows Andrei to develop outcome-focused digital and social media strategies with user experience at their heart.
